KASMA BOASTS VICTORY WITH TWO WINS IN ROUND 1

Kasma Daniel Kasmayuddin of YAMAHA GEN BLU RACING TEAM ASEAN grabs the final win for Round 1 in MSBK1000 A Class, Race 3 of Malaysia Superbike Championship.   Kasma has definitely showcased an outstanding performance this weekend with a double win at first place and another win at the second. While Race 2 posed some challenges for him that bounced him off the first spot, Kasma made an immediate comeback in Race 3 that boasted his dexterity and fearless persona in him.   At Race 3, Kasma took lead from the start and dashed right ahead leaving a huge gap which made it almost impossible for Azlan who was trailing to close it. Towards the last few laps, it was all about maintaining his pace with the hope that he would not encounter yet another mishap.   Kasma pulled it off when he logged in confidently at 17’23:245s.   Commenting on the race, Kasma said, “I was merely managing my lap time. I tried to be consistent and more careful as I had issues with my tires in Race 2. OSAMA TAKES THE WEEKEND WARRIOR TITLE FOR MSBK1000 B CLASS

Osama Mareai takes home the Weekend Warrior Title in the MSBK1000 B Class when he obtained the most points in the last three races.   Osama put on a good show despite the technical issues namely the brakes throughout the races. He maintained his pace and held on to his position despite his contender closing in on him.   Throughout the 8-lap race, Osama showcased his abilities to manoeuvre his machine, making timely decisions that would not hamper his moves on making the best time. He clocked in at 18’24:819s.   Commenting on the race, Osama said, “We were really struggling this weekend with the machine. I had been facing a consistent brake failure. I crashed during test on Thursday.”   “We tried many things on the brake to make it work but somehow it didn’t work very well so I had to change my braking styles where I was using only about 20% of it and keeping the rest for emergency just in case to avoid hitting anyone. So, the whole point is to improve and fight with the guys ahead of me however I managed to get the first place with the current situation of the bike. AZROY BAGS THE FIRST SPOT IN RACE 3

Azroy Hakeem Anuar bagged the top spot on the podium in Race 3, MSBK600 Class of the Malaysia Superbike Championship.   After two races defeated by his teammate, Khairul Idham Pawi, Azroy finally took the win with a little bit luck added to his technical dexterity and the speed of the CBR600RR machine.   While in the first few laps, KIP was confidently making his way at P1, Azroy found strength to overtake him mid race. That did not stop KIP from continuing his pursuit to get back into P1. Towards the second last lap, KIP took control of his momentum and took lead once again however, the battle continued between the duo at the turns.   As the race became heated up, KIP lost control of his bike amidst trying to break into P1 but very quickly regained his momentum just before his rear tire gave way. Azroy bolted ahead as KIP was forced to slow down.   Azroy completed the race, logging in at 21’52:519s.   Commenting on the race, Azroy said, “It was a good race and as much as I wanted to win this race, I was a little sad that my teammate didn’t make it to the podium. FARISH CREATES HAT-TRICK IN ROUND 1 OF MSBK

It’s a hat-trick for M Farish Hafiy Farid Sezli of SIC RACING TEAM when he completed the Round 1 of Malaysia Superbike Championship in Race 3, MSBK250 A Class with yet another win at the first place.   Farish flaunted extraordinary skills on the circuit aboard the Kawasaki Ninja 250 when he took lead and bolted ahead of the trio trailing him to find their pace.   While Farish confidently glided his way, guarding his position as he picked up speed, the group of three riders behind him were fighting a challenging battle to take lead. Muhammad Irfan Haykal Amidi of BOON SIEW HONDA RACING TEAM who took the last spot on the grid was seen moving his way up to the top four position as soon as the race flagged off.   Among him were Emil and Farres, teammates who were working hand-in-hand to defeat Irfan. However, Irfan did not falter. While he made some mistakes in the last few laps, he managed to regain his momentum as he continued his feat with the duo of SIC RACING TEAM.   Meanwhile, Farish was on his way to completing his race and just as he crossed the finish line at 20’19:050s, Irfan bolted ahead of the Emil and Farres, taking the second spot at 20’24:642s.   Emil Idzhar Ezuan clocked in third at 20’25:148s.   Commenting on the race, Farish said, “I began with a strategy in mind. FAUZI WINS THE WEEKEND WARRIOR FOR MSBK250 B CLASS

Muhammad Fauzi Hassan takes the win in MSBK250 B Class when he completed Race 3, with the highest points at the Malaysia Superbike Championship, Round 1.   Yesterday, Fauzi obtained the highest points in Race 1. While he bounced one spot down in Race 2 this morning, he proved his determination to succeed when he picked up speed and pushed himself back up in Race 3.   Throughout the race, Fauzi was seen to have defended his position quite well. FAREEZ TAKES VICTORY IN RACE 2

Muhd Fareez Afeez A Rahman of SINGDECA RACING team takes the win in Race 2, Yamalube Yamaha Y16ZR Race MasterClass thus concluding Round 1 of Malaysia Superbike Championship.   The highly competitive feat came to a close when Fareez took the lead in the last two laps before heading towards the finish line first. Fareez did not make it to top three in Race 1 however he made a significant improvement in Race 2 when he pushed himself all the way up from the 8th spot on the grid.   Fareez was seen grappling with his speed throughout the race. In lap 3, Fareez managed to break out of the troop and take lead only to fall back into P7 in lap 4. However, Fareez did not fall defeat to the challenge. He managed to pace himself up and by lap 5, he repositioned himself in P1 before completing lap 6 with a victory.   Fareez clocked in at 17’52:803s.   Commenting on the race, Fareez said, “In the beginning, I just tried to get into the rhythm. JACKPOT FOR AZLAN IN RACE 2

Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman of HORIZON RACING TEAM hit the jackpot towards the last lap as he took the first spot on the podium in MSBK1000 A Class, Race 2 of the Superbike Malaysia Championship. Azlan was off to a good start as the race flagged off, taking the P1 when his ultimate rival fumbled to find his pace slipping into P2. While Azlan held the position firmly in the first lap, Kasma was not about to be defeated. He began picking up speed and by lap 2, Kasma closed the gap and grabbed the P1. For the remaining 7 laps, Kasma relentlessly pushed beyond the limits to pick up speed as he confidently strode his way ahead of his contender in P2. Azlan was left far behind with an almost 11-second gap. However, luck was not on Kasma’s side when he began showing signs of a technical issue with his machine towards the last two turns. It was an opportunity to strike for Azlan as he quickly geared up to make his move past Kasma. Azlan completed Race 2 fastest when he clocked in at 21’45:080s. Commenting on the race, “The race was an exciting one. I tried to keep up my pace nevertheless, Kasma is fast, undoubtedly. By the last four laps, I faced a little bit of technical issues with my machine. I can’t believe that Kasma let me win. It was definitely a surprise. OSAMA GRABS THE MOST POINTS IN RACE 2

Osama Mareai gained the highest points in the MSBK1000 B Class of the Malaysia Superbike Championship.   Osama was seen struggling in Race 1 with his pace and he lost his chances for a better lap time when he crashed. Although he managed to pull through the incident, he however was not able to secure a better position.   In Race 2 though, Osama played well. Taking the 5th spot on the grid, Osama maintained his composure and guarded his position well throughout the race. With his consistent speed and pace, Osama managed to retain the gap between himself and his contender.   He completed the race at 22’59:404s.   Commenting on the race, Osama said, “My personal expectations was not met – it was not as good as I wanted it to be. The brakes weren’t working so well. I only have about 50% of what I should have. ANOTHER WIN FOR KIP IN RACE 2

Khairul Idham Pawi of BOON SIEW HONDA RACING once again takes the win at Race 2, MSBK600 Class.of the Malaysia Superbike Championship. KIP who has been setting a benchmark this season took off with great speed and kept to his momentum throughout the race once again with his teammate trying his best to outdo his performances. While Azroy began at the second spot on the grid, he seemed to have missed a mark when he fell one position down to P3 in lap 1. However, he managed to quickly make amends and slide back into P2 in lap 2. It was then, once again a nail-biting race as the duo took speed at arm’s length in their bid to conclude the race, fastest. As Azroy attempted to cut through at the turns throughout the last few laps, KIP managed to defend his position with well-played moves. KIP made his fastest at 21’47:832s. Commenting on the race, KIP said, “The speed and pace were both equally good. I tried to stay consistent throughout the race. In the last four laps, I had some difficulties with my tires as they kept sliding; however, I managed to pull through to the finish line.” Azroy Hakeem Anuar takes the second spot, twice in a row with 21’48:486s. DUO OF SIC RACING TEAM BAGS TOP TWO SPOTS IN RACE 2

Duo of SIC RACING TEAM bagged the top two spots at Race 2 of the Malaysia Superbike Championship in the MSBK250 A Class.   The duo was off to a good start with Farish taking lead in the first three laps. While the teammates were engaged in a neck-to-neck battle, Emil managed to slide ahead of Farish in the fourth lap and retained his pace for another lap before being challenged once again by Farish who swerved right back into the lead position in the sixth lap.   Throughout the race, both Farish and Emil bolted far ahead of the troop with Irfan trailing seconds behind at P3.   Irfan who started at the 8th spot immediately took speed as the race flagged off and by the second lap, he was comfortably grounded on P3 while trying to find his pace to join the duo ahead of him. Unfortunately, the task became impossible as they took on more laps.   Farish Hafiy Farid Sezli clocked in at 20’20:832s while his teammate, Emil Idzhar Ezuan made it at 20’21:003s.   Commenting on the race, Farish said, “It was a tough fight with my teammate, Emil. I tried my best to maintain my speed and pace. Then, he overtook me. I did not give up and continued finding ways to take back the lead position. When Emil made a slight error, I took the opportunity.
