Qayyim Razin Razali of HORIZON RACING TEAM took the win in the MSBK250 B category. Qayyim led strongly from the start, quickly creating a gap. Behind him, Huang Pin-Hung of TRIPLE A GARAGE and Carlsen Jacob Solis of SSC – HONDA PHILIPPINES – GS BATTERY RACING TEAM battled for second place. Qayyim increased his speed to 184.6km/h, maintaining the lead, and set the fastest lap time of 2’31.142s on lap 5. Saidatul Zakirah Zairin of LADY BOSS RACING TEAM, who started in fifth position, made her way up and overtook Malaysian rider Khairul Firdaus Kadzim and Carlsen to claim third position. The MSBK250 A category at the Round 2 of the 2025 AEON CREDIT MAM MALAYSIA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP, held today at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit, saw Ahmad Afif Amran of SUPERFAST JRT X RAPIDO topped the combined practice sessions. In Practice 1, Afif’s teammate, Md Akid Aziz led the pack with the fastest lap time of 2’59:928s. Dwiki Hardhiana Suparta of MAEZTRO NWN SCK HONDA RACING placed second with a time of 3’02.299s, followed closely by Afif in third at 3’02.990s. In Practice 2, Afif topped the session after improving his lap time to 2’27:000s. This put him ahead of Irfan Ardiansyah of MAEZTRO NWN SCK HONDA RACING, who set a time of 2’27.453s in second place. The MSBK250 B category saw Qayyim Razin Razali of HORIZON RACING TEAM emerge as the fastest overall in the combined practice sessions at the Round 2 of the 2025 AEON CREDIT MAM MALAYSIA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP, held today at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit. In Practice 1, Qayyim placed second after clocking the lap time of 3’21.817s, 0.253s behind Khairul Firdaus Kadzim from Malaysia who topped the session with the fastest lap time of3’21.564s. At third, was Malaysian rider, Mohamad Kanafi Kamarudin at 3’22.626s. In Practice 2, Qayyim improved his lap time to 2’34.743s, with a top speed of 128.95km/h on lap 9 to lead the session. Chinese Taipei rider Huang Pin-Hung of TRIPLE A GARAGE followed closely in second place with a time of 2’35:825s, achieving a speed of 128.06 km/h on lap 7. I wasn’t able to get the setup right in Practice 1, as the suspension didn’t perform well in the wet conditions. In Practice 2, I started to push little by little. With 5 minutes left, I pushed harder and, Alhamdulillah, I managed to set my best time. For tomorrow’s Qualifying and Race, I will do my best. Round 2 of the AEON CREDIT MAM MALAYSIA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP will be held at Sepang International Circuit this weekend. Qayim Razin Razali of Horizon Racing Team is pumped up in keeping the winning momentum in the MSBK250 B race category. It was definitely a tough show in the MSBK250 B race category but Qayim pulled out his best shots to score a double-win and the Weekend Champion title. The Malaysian rider went on to showcase his competency and ability to withstand the challenges that came along with the race category. With three more rounds to go, it takes a lot of courage, strength and confidence to keep the momentum going. Will the rider be able to present a similar show in the coming rounds? Commenting on the race, Qayim said, “One of the biggest challenges is racing alongside riders from Group A. While I’m focused on leading Group B, I’m also navigating battles with faster, more experienced riders. It’s a mental and physical test to stay sharp, hold my position and push my own limits, especially in a competition where every second counts. My bike is performing at its peak and right now, I feel like my machine is an extension of myself and that’s a massive advantage. As for disadvantages, every setup has room for improvement but we’re constantly fine-tune to stay competitive.” “Racing in the MSBK250 B category is a thrill! The opening round of the 2025 AEON CREDIT MAM MALAYSIA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP took place at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit. Md Irfan Haykhal Amidi of Honda Racing Malaysia won Race 2 in the MSBK250 A race category. As soon as Race 2 started, Haykhal was quick to take the lead, followed by Ahmad Afif Amran of SuperFast JRT x Rapido and Irfan Ardiansyah of MAEZTRO NWN TUS SCK HONDA RACING. On lap 3, Haykhal set the fastest lap time of 2’25:249s with a top speed of 183.1 km/h, building a gap over Afif. He reached a top speed of 183.7 km/h, setting another best lap time of 2’24:986s. Haykhal’s effort paid off as he extended his lead, finishing the race with a time of 19’29:795s, while Afif finished second at 19’34:080s. Irfan Ardiansyah took third place at 19’41:111s. Qayyim Razin Razali of HORIZON RACING TEAM appeared as the Weekend Champion as he won Race 2 of the MSBK250 B race category. Qayyim put on a good show by leading the pack as soon as the race started. Throughout the race, Qayyim was consistent and focused on increasing the gap with the other riders. While behind him, Carlsen and Pin-Hung were overtaking each other to fight for P2. Lap by lap, Qayyim in P1 increased the gap with the riders, at least 18 seconds behind him, and raced past the finishing line to win Race 2 at 20’29:107s. Qayyim stated, “I tried to maintain at P1, at first it was quite difficult to create a gap with the riders behind. In qualifying, Irfan Haykhal Amidi of Honda Racing Malaysia clocked the fastest lap at 2’24:739s, followed by Ahmad Afif Amran of SuperFast JRT x Rapido at 2’25:034s, and his teammate Md Akid Aziz at 2’25:561s.
