QAYYIM, THE WEEKEND CHAMPION

PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit played host to another electrifying battle in Race 2 of the MSBK250 B class, as Qayyim Razin Razali of HORIZON RACING TEAM delivered a commanding performance to not only win the race but also clinch the title of Weekend Champion at Round 3 of the 2025 AEON CREDIT MAM MALAYSIA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP.
From the race start, Qayyim launched himself straight into the lead, immediately distancing himself from the chasing pack of Carlsen Jacob Solis of SSC – HONDA PHILIPPINES – GS BATTERY RACING, Khairul Firdaus Kadzim from Malaysia, and TRIPLE A GARAGE duo Ke Huanni and Zakwan Anas Azizulkhairi.
By mid-race, Qayyim’s relentless pace allowed him to build a massive 5-second gap from the rest of the field, leaving no doubts about his control at the front. On Lap 5, Saidatul Zakirah Zairin of LADY BOSS RACING TEAM impressed by overtaking Huanni to climb into fourth place, showcasing her determination against the mixed grid.
Qayyim eventually crossed the line unchallenged in 20’00.943s, sealing a dominant victory and capping off Round 3 as the Weekend Champion. Carlsen secured second in 20’37.225s, while Firdaus clinched the final podium spot in 20’44.227s.
Qayyim shared, “Today’s race was really intense. My target was to follow the second group of A class, but honestly, I didn’t expect to win or improve this much, especially since I’ve not been feeling well this week due to a fever. Alhamdulillah, I’m grateful for this result. A big thank you to my team for providing me with a strong machine, and to all the supporters who have been cheering for me.”
SIC AND TWMR WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS OUR HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO AEON CREDIT (M) BERHAD FOR THE SUPPORT RENDERED THIS WEEKEND DURING AEON CREDIT MAM MALAYSIA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP.
