QAYYIM FASTEST AGAIN

Round 3 of the 2025 AEON CREDIT MAM MALAYSIA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit saw Qayyim Razin Razali of HORIZON RACING TEAM take control of the MSBK250 B category, finishing fastest overall in the combined practice sessions.
In Free Practice 1, Qayyim made an immediate impact, setting the benchmark with a 2’36.122s lap to lead the session. Khairul Firdaus Kadzim, representing Malaysia, followed in second at 2’37.311s, while Siti Norsyafiyah Alia Saarizan of FKR CHV RACING impressed with third place at 2’40.485s. Ke Huanni of TRIPLE A GARAGE and SSC – HONDA PHILIPPINES – GS BATTERY RACING’s Carlsen Jacob Solis completed the top five.
Free Practice 2 was run under wet conditions, but Qayyim once again proved his adaptability by staying ahead of the pack with a 2’47.764s lap. Zakwan Anas Azizulkhairi of TRIPLE A GARAGE secured second with 2’52.263s, while Khairul Firdaus was consistent in third. Siti Norsyafiyah and Daniel Benjamin Farhan Jalaluddin of NOMONEY RACING BY BRAAAP – ESTREMO closed the top five.
With the combined classification, Qayyim’s FP1 time was enough to secure his place at the top of the standings, ahead of Khairul Firdaus in second and Siti Norsyafiyah in third. Ke Huanni ranked fourth overall, while Carlsen Jacob Solis ensured an international presence in the top five for SSC – HONDA PHILIPPINES – GS BATTERY RACING.
Qayyim shared, “In Free Practice 1, I was still searching for the right bike setup and my racing line. In Free Practice 2, I gradually found my rhythm, and the suspension improved as well. This became the best setup so far and allowed me to finish fastest today. I hope I can maintain this momentum through tomorrow and the next day.”
