Race 1 of Round 3 MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship in the DUCATI CHINA PANIGALE CUP happened today at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit.

The Class A race of the DUCATI CHINA PANIGALE CUP was filled with excitement as Guo Jie took an early lead amidst pouring rain. However, Fu Yisheng faced difficulties and fell early in the race.

As the race progressed into lap 2, Guo Jie reached a remarkable speed of 238.9 km/h, maintaining his position at the front. On lap 3, Chen Zhen, the wild card rider, recorded a fastest lap time of 2’42:439s, showcasing his skill on the wet track. Yu Xiaochen pushed hard on lap 4, and beat Chen Zhen’s time with 2’41:884s.

Unfortunately, heavy rain forced the race to be halted with a red flag on lap 5, with only one lap remaining. Based on the standings at the time, Guo Jie claimed victory at total time of 8’10:905s, marking a thrilling performance despite the challenging conditions.

Class B riders faced the elements in the DUCATI CHINA PANIGALE CUP, with Zi Yangfan taking an early lead as the rain intensified. The race began with challenging conditions, testing the riders’ skills and resilience.

However, the race was ultimately called off early due to heavy rain, resulting in a red flag on lap 5. Based on the standings at the time of the stoppage, He Yuxi secured a notable victory at 8’25:807s. Zi Yangfan took second place at 8’25:830s, followed by Lee Kin Ho at 8’32:186s to claimed third place.

While in Class C watched the competitors battled fiercely against the elements, with Huang Haoming taking an early lead as rain began to pour. The challenging conditions created an exciting atmosphere as riders fought for every position.

As the race unfolded, Huang Haoming continued to lead through the wet laps, showcasing exceptional skill. However, with heavy rain affecting visibility and track conditions, the race was ultimately halted with a red flag on lap 5.

At the time of the stoppage, Huang Haoming was declared the winner at 8’40:795s, celebrating a hard-fought victory despite the challenging weather. Taking second place was Zhang Jingyu at 8’56:094s, and Fang Lu placed third at 9’02:804s.
