KASMA DOMINATES AHEAD IN SEPANG

The Free Practice sessions for MSBK1000 A took place at Round 3 of the MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship 2024 at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit, Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin of the YAMAHA TEKHNE RACING TEAM ASIA topped the combined result.
Kasma set the fastest lap of 2’07:842s, displaying remarkable control and consistency throughout both practice sessions. His strong performance places him as the favorite heading into the qualifying rounds, where competition is expected to heat up.
Kasma Daniel commented, “Today, I feel that my lap time was quite good, but I still believe there’s room for improvement. I’m optimistic that we can refine our performance even more. I really hope the weather is warm and favorable tomorrow, as I’m eager to compete for a spot on the podium in Race 1.”
Finishing second was Nakarin Atiratphuvaphat of HONDA RACING THAILAND, who recorded a lap time of 2’08:251s, just 0:409s behind Kasma. Nakarin’s steady improvement positions him as a serious contender for the top spot in tomorrow’s qualifying session.
In third place, Azlan Shah Kamaruzaman of HORIZON RACING TEAM posted a time of 2’08:303s on his BMW M1000RR, finishing 0:461s behind the leader, showing his potential to challenge the front-runners.
