Race 1, Round 2 of the MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship took place today at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit. Muhd Jazil Juraimi from Singapore bagged the win for MSBK250 A today. During the qualifying session earlier today, Gerry Salim of Honda NWN SCK Racing Team clocked in the fastest lap time at 2’27:137s. Second fastest was his teammate, Irfan Ardiansyah with the best lap time at 2’27:645s. Muhd Shahrol Syazras of Honda Estremo Yuzy Racing made it third fastest with his best lap time at 2’28:351s. Gerry made a good start as he surged ahead of the troop after the flag-off. Muhd Shahrol Syazras Shahrol Yuzy of Honda Estremo Yuzy Racing and Irfan Ardiansyah of Honda NWN SCK Racing Team at P2 and P3 respectively trailed him closely. On lap 2, Jazil made his way through and overtook the top three riders to be at P1 and picked up his speed. At P2 and P3 was Syazras and Irfan trying to keep up with Jazil. The top riders position remained the same, however the gap between Jazil at P1 with the Syazras at P2 was at least 3 seconds. Jazil won the race at 19’23:734s. Jazil said, “I didn’t expect to win today. My main focus was on fine-tuning the setup for the upcoming ARRC as a wildcard rider. My goal was simply to manage the bike and maintain consistency throughout the race. I concentrated on staying smooth and steady, which ultimately contributed to my success.” Taking second position on the podium was Irfan at 19’26:764s. Round 2 of the MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship happened today at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit. Md Naqib Rifqi Zulhelmi from Malaysia took the win today in Race 1 of the MSBK250 B race category. Earlier today in qualifying session, Kim Min Jae of HONDA ESTREMO YUZY RACING clocked in fastest with his best lap time at 2’33:998s giving him the advantage needed to stay ahead of the others during the race. At the second fastest spot was Malaysian rider, Md Naqib Rifqi Zulhelmi with his best lap time at 2’34:179s followed by Rakha Bima Saktiansyah of Honda NWN SCK Racing Team with her best lap time at 2’34:567s. Rakha took the lead as the race started. In P2 was Mohd Farderin Iskandar of Darsalube MH Racing Team and Kabilesh Rajini Krishnan of RA C R Castrol Power 1 Ultimate at P3. On lap 3, Min Jae made his way through to overtook Farderin at P2 however fell on lap 3 watched him out of the race. Race continued with Rakha maintained on top position, while Mohd Ezrix Syariz of Darsalube MH Racing Team and Md Naqib Rifqi Zulhelmi from Malaysia at P2 and P3 respectively. Round 2 of the MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship took place today at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit. Muhd Adib Arsyad Mohd Hisam of SGH CREDIT took the win today in Race 1 in the Berjaya Sompo YAMAHA Y16ZR Race MasterClass race category. Earlier today in qualifying session, Farres Putra Mohd Fadhil of E ONE CHONG MOTOR clocked in fastest with his best lap time at 2’52:667s. At the second fastest spot was Adib with his best lap time at 2’52:963s followed by Azrul Affendi Hadi of CSL BROTHERS at 2’53:129s. Farres took the lead as the race started. Behind Farres was Adib in P2, followed closely by Azrul. Soon after entering lap 2, Muhd Akid Mohd Shah Khearul Nisiam of SIN SOON LEE JOHOR TEAM made his way up and overtook Farres to take top position. The unpredictability continues when Muhd Adie Putra Sukarno also took P1 on lap 3, followed closely by Muhd Aiman Mohd Hafis of BAN HWA MOTORSPORT and Farres. At second fastest place was Arash Tsunami Kamarudin of BLH GLASSTEEL 46 RACING with his best at 2’49:047s. Azroy Hakeem Anuar of BOON SIEW HONDA RACING TEAM emerged as the fastest in Practice Session, combined. Azroy Hakeem Anuar of BOON SIEW HONDA RACING TEAM appeared the fastest in Practice 1 when he clocked the fastest lap time of 2’08:517s which placed Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin of YAMAHA TEKHNE RACING TEAM ASIA at 2’08:887s and Nakarin Atiratphuvaphat of HONDA RACING THAILAND at 2’09:292s in second and third place respectively. Abhijith Satya Prasad from India appeared fastest for practice sessions, combined. In Practice 1, Abhijith placed first with the fastest lap time of 2’16:699s. DREAM TEAM’s rider, Lee Po Yu placed second at 2’17:423s followed by Heng Si Kiat from Singapore at 2’17:554s. In Practice 2, Abhijith placed top again when he clocked the lap time of 2’16:761s which placed Si Kiat who recorded lap time of 2’18:524s in second spot. Md Helmi Azman of BOON SIEW HONDA RACING TEAM appeared fastest in the Practice Sessions. Md Helmi Azman of BOON SIEW HONDA RACING TEAM emerged fastest in Practice 1 when he set the fastest lap time of 2’11:320s placed Thanat Laoongplio of HONDA RACING THAILAND at 2’11:596s and Md Syarifuddin Azman of BOON SIEW HONDA RACING TEAM at 2’12:145s in second and third place respectively. Then, in Practice 2, Helmi once again led the pack with better lap time of 2’10:729s. In today’s practice sessions at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit, Muhd Adib Arsyad Mohd Hisam of SGH CREDIT set the fastest time in the Berjaya Sompo YAMAHA Y16ZR Race MasterClass category during the Round 2 MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship. In Practice 1, Muhd Adib Arsyad Mohd Hisam of SGH CREDIT led with a fastest lap of 2’53:018s.
