ANOTHER WIN FOR KIP IN RACE 2
Khairul Idham Pawi of BOON SIEW HONDA RACING once again takes the win at Race 2, MSBK600 Class.of the Malaysia Superbike Championship.
KIP who has been setting a benchmark this season took off with great speed and kept to his momentum throughout the race once again with his teammate trying his best to outdo his performances.
While Azroy began at the second spot on the grid, he seemed to have missed a mark when he fell one position down to P3 in lap 1. However, he managed to quickly make amends and slide back into P2 in lap 2.
It was then, once again a nail-biting race as the duo took speed at arm’s length in their bid to conclude the race, fastest. As Azroy attempted to cut through at the turns throughout the last few laps, KIP managed to defend his position with well-played moves.
KIP made his fastest at 21’47:832s.
Commenting on the race, KIP said, “The speed and pace were both equally good. I tried to stay consistent throughout the race. In the last four laps, I had some difficulties with my tires as they kept sliding; however, I managed to pull through to the finish line.”
Azroy Hakeem Anuar takes the second spot, twice in a row with 21’48:486s.
Coming in third was Muhd Ibrahim Mohd Norrodin of SIC RACING TEAM at 21’54:944s.
