AMIR MARKED FASTEST IN RACE 1

The MSBK250 B Class concluded its race with Muhd Amir Izzat Rozali of HORIZON RACING TEAM topping the list as the fastest in Race 1 of Round 3, Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK) which was held at the Sepang International Circuit.

In the qualifying session earlier this morning, Mohd Ezrix Syahriz of BUDAK KIMIA-JOND CHAIN LUBE RACING BY BRAAAP made the fastest lap time at 2’39:833s. In second fastest spot, it was Muhd Amir Izzat Rozali of HORIZON RACING TEAM at 2’40:004s followed by Ahmad Fariz Zafri of BUDAK KIMIA-JOND CHAIN LUBE RACING BY BRAAAP at 2’40:529s.

During the race, Amir was seen pacing consistently and he strode aboard the Kawasaki Ninja 250. Behind him, his teammate Izrul who was his closest rival did not seem to threaten his momentum which placed Amir in a safe play throughout.

Amir did not participate in Round 1 however in Round 2, he made some striking moves that bagged him the “Weekend Warrior” title with a total of 66 points. Today, he marked his fastest at 21’26:621s.

Commenting on the race, Amir said, “I am thrilled to have made the fastest in this race category. Today’s race was good despite the rainy weather. There is one more day for tomorrow and I hope I will be able to keep up to the same momentum so that I can take home the winning trophy once again.”

At the second fastest spot, it was M. Izrul Huzaimie Amran clocked in at 21’26:793s.

Coming in at the third fastest spot was Muhd Nur Haikal M. Nur Fikri 21’38:872s.
