HUAN NI FASTEST IN FP COMBINED

Round 3 of the Malaysia Superbike Championship began today at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit. Ke Huan Ni marked the fastest today in the free practice session, combined in the MSBK250 B race category.

In FP1 that was held this morning, Ke Huan Ni made the fastest lap time at 2’34:772s followed by Rakshith Dave of CRA Motorsport India with his best lap time at 2’35:296s. At the third fastest place was Izrul Huzaimi of Horizon Racing Team with his best lap time at 2’37:531s. In FP2, Ke Huan Ni once again made it fastest with his best lap time at 2’35:864s. Rakshith Dave too once again clocked in second fastest with his best lap time at 2’36:209s followed by Izrul Huzaimi at third fastest with his best lap time at 2’37:213s.

Ke Huan Ni, fastest for the day with his best lap time at 2’34:772s said, “It was unfortunate that I couldn’t complete Round 2 because of a racing incident, however the recovery has been pretty good and I am back to give my best. The machine is definitely different now compared to before. The sprocket has been changed and several other parts too and right now, it is really good to ride. MSBK has been a fun ride so far. It has taught me a lot compared to other races and I don’t have any regrets with my participation in it. As for the weather condition, I am not too worried about racing on the wet circuit ground. This week’s challenge would be more of the back seating but I think I will be able to fine tune that and work towards a good result.”

Rakshith Dave and Izrul Huzaimi made it second and third fastest with their fastest lap time at 2’35:296s and 2’37:213s respectively.
