Duch Thanh who made it fastest in the FP sessions at 2’33:257s commented, “My challenge is the rain I suppose. It has been raining all the while. Although I am leading the way, it has not been easy because of the weather. Apart from that, there are two riders who are strong in this race category and they are way faster than me so that is definitely another challenge for me. Everyone in this round is no doubt a competitor for me. My machine is in a good condition for now. The suspension is still new because the machine is new therefore it is very soft and when I brake, I slide a little. Nevertheless, these are some of the challenges that I need to overcome and tomorrow during the race, I will do my best for sure.”
At second fastest combined was Ahmad Darwisy with his best lap time at 2’33:348s.
Shahrol Syazras made it third fastest with his best lap time at 2’34:631s.
