CLEAN SWEEP BY SIC RACING IN MSBK 600

Team SIC Racing’s last-minute decision to add Adam Norrodin onto their MSBK 600 roster has obviously paid off. The inclusion of the highly experienced rider changed the dynamics of the race.
In Race 1 of the MSBK 600 for Round 2, the team helmed by former GP rider Zulfahmi Khairuddin made a clean sweep of the MSBK 600 podium with Mohd Ibrahim Norrodin in first place, Mohd Adam Norrodin in second and Mohd Syarifuddin Azman in third.
The MSBK 600 Race 1 was a 5-way battle that lasted the full 10 laps. The SIC Racing trio went head to head against Boon Siew Honda Racing Team’s Azroy Hakeem Anuar and Mohd Helmi Azman. It was one of the most intense MSBK 600 races in recent years.
“I didn’t have the best of starts. In fact, I had to make up for a lot of ground as I almost lost touch with the leading group. But I kept my cool and I knew that I would be able to out-break most of these others riders and therein lies my advantage. I just wanted to win this race. As I overtook first Syarifuddin and then Adam, I no longer cared that they were my team-mates or my brother,” Ibrahim described the race.
Behind the leading five, mechanical gremlins forced Khairul Idham Pawi out of the race after only a single lap. Nazirul Izzat and Moh dAkid Aziz continued to make improvements in P6 and P7.
