BOOSTED PERFORMANCE BY QAYYUM

It has been quite a ride for the Yamaha Y16ZR Race MasterClass riders throughout the season of Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK). Nevertheless, the riders have showcased unwavering commitment in their bid to make the best of the race category’s debut season. After two practice sessions today, Abdullah Qayyum Abd Razak of NEW CHEN MOTORSPORTS completed his day as the fastest in the session, combined.

Qayyum currently takes the eighth spot in the overall standings with a total of 29 points. He took the podium in Round 1, Race 2 and the fourth spot in Round 2, Race 2. Unfortunately, Race 1 for both rounds were unfavourable to him and no points were added to his name. Despite that, Qayyum has positioned himself well in the top ten spot.

For practice session one, Qayyum clocked in at 3’13:820s but for practice session two, he improved at 3’11:599s.

Coming in at the second fastest in the combined result sheet was Muhd Norhakim Mohd Nurhafizullah of SHENG KONG MOTOR who marked his fastest at 3’11:599s.

Ahmad Syukran Aizat Yusoff of XL MOTOR made the third fastest at 3’11:614s.
