RAJA NAZEEM TAKES CHARGE IN MSBK1000 B

In an eventful Race 1 of the MSBK1000 B category at Round 3 MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship, Raja Nazeem Iskandar from MOBILUB SUZUKI RACING TEAM showcased his dominance at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit.

The race began dramatically, with a red flag raised mere seconds in. Following a short delay, the race restarted with 8 laps on the clock. Chan Qing Rong initially took the lead, but as the laps progressed, Raja Nazeem quickly asserted himself in P1.

By lap 4, Raja Nazeem had established a significant lead, sitting 4:453s ahead of Qing Rong in P2, while Mohd Azlly Shaari trailed in P3, 3:911s behind Qing Rong.

Raja Nazeem’s impressive performance solidified his position at the front, demonstrating both speed and skill throughout the race to claimed the victory at 18’21:039s.

Raja Nazeem said, “I’m really happy with today’s result. Until now, I’ve only raced Yamaha for three years, and this is my third year in MSBK. Last week, I was supposed to ride my own bike, but there were issues with it. I reached out to Ahmad Faiz from Suzuki to see if he had a spare bike. He was initially going to compete in MSBK but had work commitments. I owe him a big thanks for allowing me to race with MOBILUB SUZUKI RACING TEAM. I first rode the Suzuki on Thursday during FP1 and had no expectations for fast lap times. However, during the race, I clocked a 2’14:970s lap, which I knew would place me in Class A. I’ll accept whatever decision the organizers make and see it as a challenge to improve myself. My dream is to be within 5 seconds of the Class A riders.”
