RAIYAN SET THE PACE AT SEPANG

In today’s combined practice sessions at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit, Raiyan Khardanee Mohd Sanusi of T.K.WONG RACING set the fastest time in the YAMAHA Y16ZR Race MasterClass category during the opening round of the 2025 AEON CREDIT MAM MALAYSIA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP.

In Practice 1, Ahmad Iqram Danish Ahmad Ghazali of BAN HWA MOTORSPORT led with a fastest lap of 2’53:495s. He was followed by Muhd Iman Fahmi Senin of KSENG MOTOR, who clocked 2’53:537s, and Muhd Afiq Mohd Hamdan of HK MOTOR in third with a time of 2’53:587s.

In Practice 2, Raiyan Khardanee Mohd Sanusi of T.K.WONG RACING took the top spot with the fastest lap time of 2’52:618s, with a top speed of 115.60km/h. Iman secured second place with a time of 2’52:879s, just 0.261s behind Raiyan. Muhd Syahmi Aiman Mohd Shafie of UNITED RACJ RACING SPIRIT took third place with a time of 2’52:983s.

Overall, Raiyan topped the combined practice results, with Iman and Syahmi rounding out the top three.

Raiyan commented, “I was only focused on getting the feel and rhythm with the bike. I’m happy to be able to lead overall. I hope I can achieve a good result in tomorrow’s race.”
