QAYYIM, THE WEEKEND CHAMPION

Round 2 of the 2025 AEON CREDIT MAM MALAYSIA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit, saw Qayyim Razin Razali of HORIZON RACING TEAM delivered a flawless performance to win Race 2 of the MSBK250 B category.

At the start, Qayyim surged into the lead, with Carlsen Jacob Solis of SSC – HONDA PHILIPPINES – GS BATTERY RACING TEAM behind him, followed by Huang Pin-Hung of TRIPLE A GARAGE in third.

Qayyim gradually pulled away from the group lap by lap. Pin-Hung overtook Carlsen for second on lap 6 but lost the position again on lap 7.

On the final lap, Qayyim had built a massive 19-second lead and cruised to victory in 20’17.734s. Pin-Hung’s persistence paid off as he reclaimed second from Carlsen and finished in 20’42.260s. Carlsen completed the podium, also at 20’42.260s.

With these results, Qayyim was crowned Weekend Champion for MSBK250 B.

Qayyim shared, “This weekend, I really struggled to adapt to the bike because it was hard to find the right setup. Both Race 1 and Race 2 were tough — I had to fight with fast riders and just focused on giving my best. Alhamdulillah, I’m grateful to take the win this weekend.”
