QAYYIM LED FROM LIGHTS OUT TO CHEQUERED FLAG

Race 1 of the opening round of the 2025 AEON CREDIT MAM MALAYSIA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP took place today at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit. Qayyim Razin Razali of HORIZON RACING TEAM took the win in the MSBK250 B category.

Qayyim led strongly from the start, quickly creating a gap. Behind him, Kabilesh Rajini of TEAM RACR CASTROL POWER1 and Carlsen Jacob Solis of SSC – HONDA PHILIPPINES – GS BAT battled for P2.

Kabilesh’s podium hopes ended early when he crashed on Lap 3.

Qayyim secured the win at 20’31:800s. On the final turn, Carlsen overtook Huang Pin-Hung of TRIPLE A GARAGE, finishing second at 20’43:641s, with Huang taking third at 20’43:972s.

Qayyim said, “In the race, I just focused on maintaining my pace at the front to build a gap. Alhamdulillah, I managed to take the top spot on the podium today. I’m looking forward to Race 2 tomorrow!”
