QAYYIM CLAIMED CLEAN SWEEP

The MSBK250 B category in Race 2 of Round 4 of the 2025 AEON CREDIT MAM MALAYSIA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit saw Qayyim Razin Razali of HORIZON RACING TEAM deliver a commanding performance, claiming both the Race 2 win, the Weekend Champion, and the Overall Champion crown for the season.

At the start, Qayyim surged into the lead, closely followed by Carlsen Jacob Solis of SSC – HONDA PHILIPPINES – GS BATTERY RACING, KABILESH RAJINI of TEAM RACR CASTROL POWER1, Huang Pin-Hung of TRIPLE A GARAGE, and Khairul Firdaus Kadzim of Malaysia. Qayyim maintained his lead throughout, confident in his pace and never looking back.

By Lap 6, Kabilesh overtook Pin-Hung to take third, while Firdaus steadily closed in on Kabilesh from fifth position, waiting for an opportunity to pass. In the final laps, Pin-Hung made a bold move to reclaim third place, securing his podium finish.

Qayyim crossed the finish line first in 20’02.679s, followed by Carlsen at 20’06.183s, and Pin-Hung at 20’21.228s. His dominant performance also secured him the MSBK250 B Overall Champion title for the 2025 season, with a total of 200 points.

Qayyim said, “I stayed relaxed and focused on fighting for first place. At one point, there was a small gap from the leading group, but it was okay because I still managed to secure the weekend championship. I want to thank my team, my coach, and everyone who has supported me.”
