KASMA TAKING LEAD

Round 3 of the Malaysia Superbike Championship began today at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit. Kasma Daniel Kasmayuddin of YAMAHA Gen Blu Racing Team ASEAN marked the fastest today in the free practice session, combined in the MSBK1000 A race category.
In FP1 earlier today, Kasma Daniel marked fastest with his best lap time at 2’07:900s. Azroy Hakeem of Boon Siew Honda Racing Team made it second fastest with his best lap time at 2’08:566s. At third fastest was Azlan Shah of Horizon Racing Team with his best lap time at 2’09:267s. In FP2, Azroy Hakeem emerged fastest with his best lap time at 2’27:221s followed by Azlan Shah with his best lap time at 2’28:330s. Third fastest was Hongyan Chen with his best lap time at 2’44:710s.
The evening concluded with Kasma Daniel being the fastest with his best lap time at 2’07:900s. Kasma may have missed out on FP2 however his lap time in FP1 was good enough to keep him ahead of his competitors for the time being. Kasma currently is in the running for the overall championship title and holds 52 points more than his closest contender, Azlan Shah. Kasma took four wins last season and another four podiums which awarded him with the championship title.
Taking the second fastest spot was Azroy Hakeem with his best lap time at 2’08:566s.
Azlan Shah made it third with his best lap time at 2’09:267s.
