KASMA BAGGED TOP SPOT

It was quite a show with the MSBK1000 A Class riders in Race 1 of Round 3, Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK) as they gathered all their might to conclude the evening with an outstanding performance. Among them, Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin of YAMAHA Racing Team ASEAN made an impressive finish and took the win for the day.

The unpredictable weather was a challenge for the MSBK1000 A Class riders. The 11-lap race was cut down to 9 laps as riders hopped on their machines equipped with wet tires with the determination to perform their best. Kasma who took the pole position managed to retain his speed and momentum steadily throughout the race.

At P2, Zaqhwan retained his position well for the first four laps before he was superseded by Takuya. From then on, the latter remained in P2 for the rest of the race while Zaqhwan managed his momentum at P3.

Kasma took the win when he clocked in fastest at 20’42:381s.

Commenting on the race, Kasma said, “It was quite a challenge today with the weather and that has definitely put a strain on the performances. While I know that I could have done better, I am happy to have made it at the top spot on the podium.”

Takuya Tsuda of MOBILUB SUZUKI RACING TEAM clocked in second at 20’51:281s.

At third place, Mudh Zaqhwan Zaidi of Honda Asia-Dream Racing with SHOWA made his fastest at 20’57:282s.
