KAMARUL SECURED VICTORY

The Race 1 of Round 4 in the 2025 AEON CREDIT MAM MALAYSIA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP’s MSBK1000 B category at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit witnessed a dominant performance from Kamarul Izad Ishak of KOYAK DESIGN LUQMANAN BY ZYNERGY RACING, who led from start to finish to claim victory.

At the start, Kamarul wasted no time taking the lead, closely trailed by Mohd Azlly Shaari of FGRT PROJECT ONE in second, He JunPeng of SILVER STEED RACING TEAM in third, and Teuku Irfan Affandy of TRIPLE A GARAGE in fourth.

Throughout the race, Kamarul maintained a commanding pace, keeping Azlly and Teuku within sight but unable to challenge his lead. By Lap 6, the top five remained consistent with Kamarul leading, followed by Azlly, Teuku, Alvinderjit Singh of HORIZON RACING TEAM, and JunPeng.

The positions remained unchanged through the final laps, as Kamarul extended his advantage and crossed the finish line first in 22’55.663s. Azlly claimed second at 23’01.729s, while Teuku completed the podium in third at 23’15.847s.

Kamarul said, “Today was a good fight! We really enjoyed this round, as the competition was both exciting and challenging. On top of that, the weather was excellent, which made the race even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a satisfying experience, and we’re looking forward to Race 2.”
