ADIE TOPPED PRACTICE SESSION IN SEPANG

The Free Practice sessions for the Berjaya Sompo YAMAHA Y16ZR Race MasterClass took place at Round 3 of the MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship 2024 at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit, where Muhd Adie Putra Sukarno of SCM FACTORY RACING TEAM topped the combined result.

Adie Putra set the pace with a fastest lap time of 2’52:392s, showcasing his speed and consistency throughout both practice sessions. His strong performance has positioned him as a key contender for pole position in tomorrow’s qualifying session.

Adie Putra commented, “It was a solid day on the track. The bike setup felt great, and I’m pleased with the pace we’ve set. I know the competition is close, so I’ll be focusing on fine-tuning a few things for tomorrow’s qualifying. I’m confident we can keep this momentum going and secure a strong starting position for the race.”

Finishing in second place was Muhd Adib Arsyad Mohd Hisam of MH RACING, who recorded a time of 2’52:520s, just 0:128s behind Adie Putra. Adib’s close pursuit indicates a tight battle for the top spot in the upcoming sessions.

Completing the top three was Muhd Danish Aiman Zamrul of CHJ RACING, who posted a time of 2’52:821s, trailing the leader by 0:429s. Danish Aiman will be looking to close the gap during tomorrow’s qualifying round.
