ADIB SETS THE PACE AT SEPANG

In today’s practice sessions at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit, Muhd Adib Arsyad Mohd Hisam of PJ WONG MOTOR set the fastest time in the Berjaya Sompo YAMAHA Y16ZR Race MasterClass category during Round 4 of the MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship.

In Practice 1, Adib led with a fastest lap of 2’51.080s. He was followed by Muhd Fadlyshah Redzuan of KEAT SENG MOTOR, who clocked 2’53.330s, and Ahmad Iqram Danish Ahmad Ghazali of ALL BIKE RACING TEAM in third with a time of 2’53.368s.

Adib continued his dominance in Practice 2 with a best lap time of 2’52.953s, reaching a top speed of 115.38 km/h. Muhd Akid Mohd Shah Khearul Nisiam of AKJB secured second place with a time of 2’53.250s, just 0.297s behind Adib. Ahmad Iqram Danish Ahmad Ghazali took third place with a time of 2’53.400s.

Overall, Adib topped the combined practice results, with Akid and Fadlyshah rounding out the top three.

Adib commented, “Today, thank God, I just focused on getting the feel and rhythm back with the bike. I hope to do my best as I am currently leading the championship. This is my first time leading overall, and I’ll try to gather as many points as possible. Hopefully, I can achieve a good result in tomorrow’s race.”
