AZROY, DOUBLE WIN & CHAMPION!

AZROY, DOUBLE WIN & CHAMPION!

Round 4 of the 2025 AEON CREDIT MAM MALAYSIA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP at the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit saw Azroy Hakeem Anuar of HONDA RACING MYS secure his second victory of the weekend in the MSBK1000 A category, clinching the 2025 Overall Championship in style.

At the start, Muhd Helmi Azman of HONDA RACING MYS surged ahead to lead the pack, followed closely by Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin of HONG LEONG YAMAHA MYS and Azroy in third. Early laps witnessed an intense battle at the front. By Lap 3, Kasma overtook Helmi, while Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah from Malaysia set the fastest lap of 2’06.943s to move up the order. Adam Norrodin of AMI SUZUKI MOTORSPORT retired due to technical issues.

From Lap 6 onwards, Hafizh continued to close in on the leading trio with another fastest lap of 2’06.106s, signalling his intent to challenge the top riders. On Lap 7, Helmi reclaimed the lead from Kasma, but Azroy capitalized on a gap at Turn 13 to move past Kasma and join Helmi at the front. The following lap saw Azroy overtake Helmi to take command of the race, establishing a strong pace that would see him maintain the lead to the finish.

Crossing the line in 21’14.808s, Azroy celebrated his double win at Round 4, with Helmi finishing second at 21’15.163s and Kasma taking third at 21’17.747s.

With this win, Azroy Hakeem Anuar is officially crowned MSBK1000 A Overall Champion for the 2025 season, amassing a total of 179 points. Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin placed second overall with 162 points, followed by Muhd Helmi Azman with 92 points.

Azroy said, “Alhamdulillah, thank God, it has been a great season overall. I’ve been consistently at the front. There were a few times I dropped back due to technical issues, but other than that, I’ve finished on the podium in every race. Coming into today, I knew everyone would go all out to end the season with strong results. With three laps to go, I told myself it was time to attack. I had excellent pace this round. Thank you to my team for giving me the opportunity to compete on this stage, as this is also part of my preparation heading into the ARRC. Thank you to everyone for the support!”

SIC AND TWMR WOULD LIKE TO EXPRESS OUR HEARTFELT THANK YOU TO AEON CREDIT (M) BERHAD FOR THE SUPPORT RENDERED THIS WEEKEND DURING AEON CREDIT MAM MALAYSIA SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP.
